Laverack Joinery is a family run joinery manufacturer in York, making purpose made timber joinery for homeowners, designers, architects and construction firms. Everything is made in our own workshop, and we supply the trade nationwide.
Laverack Joinery was established in July 1984 by Robert Laverack, a trained bench hand joiner from a large family in the construction industry, working from small premises in Layerthorpe, York. He saw the need for a joinery manufacturer supplying purpose made items to the local trade. The company now supplies products nationwide.
After a period of growth the company moved to larger freehold premises at Birch Park on Huntington Road in 1990, equipped with a substantial amount of modern machinery and a dust extraction system that heats the building. In July 2001 it was incorporated as Laverack Joinery Ltd.
Purpose made means made for your opening, your building and your specification, not pulled off a shelf.
Purpose made staircases in hardwood or softwood, from traditional turned spindles to clean contemporary flights.
Entrance doors, internal doors, french and patio doors, panelled, glazed or boarded, made to fit the opening you have.
Casement, box sash and purpose made timber windows, including conservation work for period and listed buildings.
Oak frames, screens, orangeries, mouldings and one off pieces. If it can be made from timber, ask us.
